Trivia[]

  • The so-called "almost anti-gravity" mechanic in this level is not authentic, and is achieved by reusing the game's water mechanics and making them stronger, hampering Gex's movement even more. This is also evident by Gex using underwater-specific quotes when going in the almost anti-gravity segments.
  • This level is not playable in the PAL PS1 version.
  • The first question mark indicating an "almost anti-gravity" segment is probably wrongly placed, as Gex has to swim through regular water. Perhaps it means that the water is suspended in zero gravity, as there is nothing below to contain but still remains suspended in the air.
  • There is a secret area at the beginning of the level. When you begin the level and destroy the first blocks that hide an intermittent electric bolts caster, you encounter your first slide. Instead of going down, climb onto the ceiling and crawl along it, downwards. Just two inches above the constant electric bolt caster below you, jump upwards and you'll "magically" land on an invisible wall within the solidness. You'll slide down to a ledge and from there you can proceed to the left and ascend via the diagonal ramp. At the top are 20 golden flies. If you climb the wall at the end of this corridor and leap over the edge you'll exit the level's construction.
  • Another place to do the above is once you descend down the poisonous green liquid towards the end of the level, with the intermittent bolt casters. Follow the trail of collectable golden flies and take damage (there is a paw life ball below to compensate getting hit). You'll reach a little corridor with more golden flies. If you dash across it and grab onto the upper ceiling, you'll drop down and out of the wall if you continue towards the upper-left corner, once the passage slopes down.
  • The enigmatic "Can you find all 100?" question mark found at the beginning of the level probably refers to finding all golden flies in the level, with those 20 additional ones being located in the secret area. There are exactly 100 golden flies in the level.
  • This level's name references Newton's laws of motion. There are only three laws, there is no Newton's 4th Law.
  • This level and The Project are the only ones that feature the cloudy sky background art.
