Indiana Geckos are enemies found in the Congo Chaos temple on Jungle Isle in Gex.
Design and inspiration[]
Indiana Geckos are obviously inspired by Indiana Jones, a character who originally appeared in the 1981 film Raiders of the Lost Ark. They wear a brown jacket and the iconic Indiana Jones hat.
Behaviour and strategy[]
They carry their tail as a whip and use it like one.4
Trivia[]
- This is the first time the game used an Indiana Jones inspired outfit. Gex would later wear the same outfit in the Bonus Level Aztec 2 Step.
